Soprano Maria Stacey Maxfield enjoys a versatile operatic career focusing on classical and new works. Currently, she performs as an ensemble member with The Metropolitan Opera, and is a vocal arts educator and director in NYC and throughout the United States.
I have over 12 years of professional teaching experience and graduated with my Doctorate of Musical Arts degree in 2023 with an emphasis in Vocology.
My experience as a performer and my research and study within Vocology make me a competitive and knowledgeable teacher. I tailor my vocal instruction to each individual student and their desired vocal style and goals through evidence based vocal pedagogy and my years of performance experience.
